PANTHERS GET THEIR GROOVE BACK!

November 16th was a special day at Hosford School.  It was the day the Panther Basketball Team found their groove.  In an amazing display of skill and sportsmanship, the Panthers defeated the Franklin County Seahawks, 49-12.  The amazing part was how well they played together.  They were like a band of brothers.   The kind that actually like one another. Never has this reporter witnessed such astounding progress.  These young men are really learning to read their team mates and function together like a well oiled piece of machinery.  Just check out these stats:

                                  Points Scored    Rebounds   Assists
Micah McCaskill                  12                1               3
Garrett Swier                         8                2
Ken King                               2                6
D. J Pittman                           4                4               1

Bailey Singletary                     4               1               1
Brody Holland                                         1               1

These boys worked together very well to secure the win for the Panthers.  Each player did his part to help the team excell.  And excell is exactly what they did!  At the rate they're going, the future is looking brighter.

Even our "B" Team boys astounded us tonight!   We saw newcomers step up and lead their team to victory with some incredible shots.  Troy Durden and Blade Barineau led their team in scoring by adding 6 points each to the scoreboard, while Ken Thompson added 3 of his own.  They defeated the Sewhawks by a score of 15-0.  If you aren't attending these basketball games, you are missing out! Grab the kids and head on out to the gym. We promise you, you'll enjoy the game.
